The castle of Commarin

Surrounded by its water and its park, the castle of Commarin has belonged to the same family for more than 900 years. Built as a Maison Forte, it became a fortified castle under the power of the Dukes of Burgundy. The castle endured several transformations throughout the centuries that created a remarkable architectural mix.

The medieval village of Mont-Saint-Jean

You will be transported back to the middle-ages period with the village of Mont-Saint-Jean. With its castle and rampart used as a shelter in case of  attacks,with its stone houses and its hospital, the village is sitting on its rocky spur and is overlooking the Serein valley.
