Train du Père Noël- Bligny sur Ouche

The Ouche valley is a unique place, full of mystery and magic. Many legends come to life here, such as the one about the arrival every year-end of a man with a long white beard, dressed all in red, who comes to take a ride on the steam train! Welcome aboard Santa's Train!

It's a journey that will allow the older children to rediscover their childhood spirit and meet the man who made them dream so much when they were little.

Join us on Saturday 06/12/25, Sunday 07/12/25, Saturday 13/12/25 and Sunday 14/12/25 at 2.30 pm at Bligny-sur-Ouche station (Côte d'Or), for a trip back to the early 20th century and the magic of Christmas.

What's the journey like?

At Bligny-sur-Ouche station, you'll board a majestic steam train in the company of railway elves for a journey on a historic line dating from 1832 to the "North Pole" station to meet Father Christmas.

In this magical station, you'll be transported back to childhood as you discover that the legend of Father Christmas travelling in his steam train is very real!

You can climb aboard his fully-decorated carriage to meet him in a magical setting. Your children will be able to give him their letters written during the journey, and he'll be ready to listen to the list of presents and immortalise the meeting with a photo.

The best-behaved children will be treated to free chocolate baubles, and Santa will have a mission for them: to find his elf friends hidden in the station!

Your children will have to play a little adventure to find the hidden elves and letters to win a free hot chocolate from the Purokao Mexican chocolate factory.

While parents enjoy their chocolate by the log fire or discover the steam locomotive with explanations from the driving team, children can draw steam locomotives in the drawing workshop.

You can also buy souvenirs to help preserve our railway heritage.

Santa's train lasts between 1h30 and 2h00 journey (return) and entertainment.

NOTHING IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU! Buying a train ticket means helping to preserve our railway heritage!

The price of the ticket includes: papillotes, hot chocolate, the elves' adventure, a meeting with Father Christmas, the discovery of the locomotive and the steam train journey.

Reservations are MANDATORY! No tickets will be sold at the station on the day of the event.
