Fantastic Picnic au Château Sainte Sabine

The Fantastic Picnic at Château Sainte Sabine will take place on Sunday 14 September 2025 in our 8-hectare park in the heart of the Auxois countryside, on the theme of Guinguette by the pond, facing the deer in the park and the château of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois.

In this bucolic setting, Chef Thomas Braghi will be concocting a gourmet buffet inspired by the Burgundy region. You'll be able to sample aperitifs, spit-roasted meats and vegetables, and regional cheeses, before enjoying the ice-cream trolley and other sweet treats for young and old, such as popcorn, summer smoothies and candyfloss.
For a delicious and unforgettable experience, the Chef will be working with local producers who have been awarded the 'Savoir-faire 100% Côte d'Or' label.

This country-style lunch on Vichy tablecloths will be punctuated by entertainment including an accordionist, games for youngsters and a brass band.
