Two years have passed at Saint Hubert. Life there is peaceful, perhaps too much so for Adélaïde and Simon, who are suffering from a lack of friends their own age. But the arrival of Stanislas, the son of Bernard, the former president of the village hunters, who has returned to live in the countryside with his wife and two children, is a welcome change. They're handsome, young and friendly. Their only fault: they hunt at hounds. The peace of the village is about to be disturbed: new neighbours, new problems.
