Vél'Ornitho à Cercey

As part of the national "May by Bike" campaign, set off from Pouilly-en-Auxois and pedal to the rhythm of the birdsong around the Cercey reservoir. This guided bike ride (13 km) will be an opportunity to discover birdlife in a different way, particularly through the etymology of their names. Every pedal stroke will be lulled by the melody of nesting passerines, and our peloton may be lucky enough to be escorted by a flock of birds of prey, while grebes, coots and other water birds will reveal themselves as they swim by.

Co-ordinated by Matthieu Robert, in partnership with the Pouilly-en-Auxois / Bligny-sur-Ouche Community of Communes and the Côte-d'Or Department.

RDV at 9 am in Pouilly-en-Auxois. Exact meeting point to be confirmed after registration on 06 01 39 21 91 or via matthieu.robert@lpo.fr (please note that places are limited). Bring your own bike (bikes can be hired from the harbour office), appropriate clothing and equipment, and a water bottle. Binoculars and spotting scopes will be available for participants.
